The things of God must be pressed into. You must zealously seek the Lord for the anointings, mantles, and giftings that he wants activated in your life. The Kingdom of God – his rule in all things, must be pressed into. Just because you see it in the Word does not mean that it will automatically be dropped in your lap. Some things may work that way, but the majority of them must be pressed into.

I have been studying the signs that are supposed to follow believers. I have just reached a point in my life where I am sick and tired of a POWERLESS Christianity. I want to see demons cast out, sick people healed, lepers cleansed, the dead coming to life…I want signs, miracles, and wonders and I am not willing to settle for less. Nimechoka! (I am tired).

I am sick and tired of Church services where people walk in demon possessed and walk out the same way. Walk in confused and walk out even more confused. Walk in sick and leave the same way. Where is the power that is supposed to accompany the word that is preached? 1 Corinthians 2:4 Paul speaking says that his preaching to them was not with wise and persuasive words but with a DEMONSTRATION OF THE SPIRIT’S POWER. Where is this demonstration of the Holy Spirit’s Power?

Jesus said we shall cast out devils, heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead…preach that the Kingdom of God is at hand. The signs are the demonstration of power that says we have hurled out the devil’s kingdom. It’s a hostile takeover and the kingdom of God has come to stay! “…The reason the Son of God appeared was to destroy the works of the devil” 1 John 3:8. The signs are a practical demonstration of that and they are meant to follow EVERY BELIEVER not just those in the five fold ministry.

Matthew 11:12 “From the days of John the Baptist until now, the Kingdom of Heaven suffers violence, and violent men lay claim to it.” The Amplified adds that “a share in the heavenly kingdom is sought with most ardent zeal and intense exertion.” We must press in for a share in the heavenly kingdom. We must press in for the power of God to be made manifest through us with ardent zeal and intense exertion.

Seek ye first the Kingdom of God, seek his rule in all things on the earth and in the lives of those you come into contact with, with fasting and prayer, with sweat and tears, with night vigils and much crying out. Lay claim to the Kingdom of God by force and let his power flow through you with signs, miracles, and wonders.
